Saint, Not Sinner
Professor Maxey counted how the New Testament uses the word sinner. Paul calls believers brothers about one hundred times and saints about forty times. He applies the word sinner to a believer only when speaking of his own life before Christ. This does not make us proud. It tells us what God has done and what he expects.
