Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using garysmaxeynetwork.org (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.
Use of the site
You may browse the Site and use its Contact, Giving enquiry, and newsletter forms for their intended purpose — engaging with the ministry and mission of the Gary S. Maxey Network. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the Site without our permission.
- Submit false, abusive, or malicious content through our forms.
Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the text, images, and design of this Site are the property of the Gary S. Maxey Network or are used with permission. This includes the "His Story" narrative, adapted from Rev. Prof. Gary S. Maxey's published memoirs with permission. You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts with attribution, but you may not reproduce, republish, or distribute substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission.
Third-party links and services
Our Site links to third-party services, including Cognito Forms (for our Contact and Giving enquiry forms), WhatsApp (for our Community), and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
Giving and donations
The Site does not currently process online payments or donations directly. The Giving page allows you to submit an enquiry expressing interest in supporting the Network; our office will follow up with you personally to arrange the practical details of any gift. No financial transaction takes place on this Site itself.
No warranty
The Site and its content are provided "as is," for general informational purposes, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Gary S. Maxey Network and its affiliates, including WATS, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
