Two Pillars

Ephesians 2:8-9 and Psalm 24:3-4
Professor Maxey says two pillars hold up the bridge to the Highway of Holiness. The first is pardon. By grace, through faith, our sins are forgiven and our hands are made clean. The second is purity. Psalm 24 says the one who stands in God's holy place has clean hands and a pure heart. Both come from the cross. Many believers stop at the first pillar and wonder why the second seems far away.
