Malachi 3:1-3 and Matthew 3:11-12
Malachi 3:2. Who can endure the day of his coming? He is like a refiner's fire and a launderer's soap.
Malachi 3:3. He sits as a refiner and purifies the sons of Levi, so they may bring offerings in righteousness.
Matthew 3:11-12. John says the Coming One will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire.
