Day 26 of 30

Perfect, Not Flawless

Read
Philippians 3:12-15

Paul says he is not yet perfect and also that the perfect should think this way. Professor Maxey explains that the same Greek word often means complete or on target. A saint is on target when he is where God wants him to be on his journey. He still has weaknesses. He no longer has rebellion.

Ask yourself

Do I use my flaws as an excuse?

Do today

Name one weakness to bring to God, and one rebellion to surrender.

Drawn from the teaching of Professor Gary S. Maxey.
