When the Spirit shows us something, we must not run from it. Professor Maxey says we should confess it in clear terms. Not a general sorry, but, Oh God, I confess my spirit of jealousy against my brother, and I ask you to remove it. This may take more than five minutes and may come with sorrow. God is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse.
